How Do I Apply for Admission?

Admission to the program is open and in accord with College policies that state: "Delaware County Community College is committed to providing an equal educational opportunity to all. This open door policy allows the College to admit any high school graduate or person who has passed the GED (high school equivalency) exam." Medical Assistant applicants are required to take college placement tests in English, math, and reading skills. Any deficiencies must be remedied prior to registering for AHM 106- Medical Assistant Techniques and Practicum I. Certain manual dexterity and sensory skills that will enable the student to competently perform required technical procedures are necessary for successful completion of the program.
