Services Available to Disabled Students
The Director of Special Needs Services will work with the student to develop an individual service plan that may include the following:
- Classroom accommodations such as special testing procedures, tape recording of lectures, note takers, readers, spelling allowances, and sign language interpreters.
- Academic support through tutoring in the college Learning Centers, Tutorial Lab and Writing Center. Assistance may also be provided through the Special Services Assistant, housed in the Career and Counseling Center, located on the first floor of the Academic Building in Room 1320.
