Youth and Community Empowerment Summit

The summit is a one-day event created to promote healthy lifestyles, while empowering young people to become positive catalyst for change in their homes, schools and communities. This is accomplished through the array of educational workshops and circle learning forums offered during the event. The vision of the collaborative is to build a “strong Chester community in which all youth reach their full potential and transition successfully into adulthood.” In keeping with this vision, this year’s summit has been designed to provide a message of survival, success, and service.

High School Dual Enrollment Information Session

Learn about the reduced tuition for high school dual enrollment effective for Fall 2013 at this information session.

The tuition discount is part of a three-year pilot program that will allow qualified high school juniors and seniors to enroll in classes for a significantly reduced cost. This session will begin promptly at 6 p.m.

Federal Jobs II - Federal Resume & KSA Writing

Participants should bring a copy of a current resume and a printout of a federal job posting of interest. The workshop "Federal Jobs I - 10 Steps to a Federal Job" is a prerequisite for this workshop.
