Description

2nd Day of Testing -

The GED test is a 9-hour test given over two consecutive days. The full GED test is given twice each month beginning in February 2012. The start times are either 10 AM or 4:30 PM. Check-in begins one half hour prior to the testing time. The registration deadline for any given test is by 4 PM on the Friday of the week prior to the week of the testing or when capacity is reached whichever comes first. The cost of the GED test is $95 and is due at the time of registration. Only PA residents are eligible to take the GED test in PA. A current PA state photo ID or a current PA license is required and a current piece of official mail is needed to register for the test such as a utility bill, bank statement, paystub or cell phone bill. A current passport is also an acceptable form of photo ID; however, two pieces of official mail are required due to no address being shown on a passport. Other documentation is required if the candidate is 16 or 17 years old.  Your official photo ID and a copy of your paid receipt must be presented on both days of the test. Please call the Assessment Center at (610) 359-5322 if you have any questions or for further information.
