Are you guilty of using your cell phone while driving to either text, check facebook, or anything else that might take your eyes away from the road for 2 SECONDS? These 2 SECONDS can change (or even end) your entire life. The federal government reports that almost 6,000 people died and a half million were injured in 2008 because of distracted drivers. The effects of distracted driving have also proven to be equivalent to drink driving. Help stop this trend! Come to this informative session to learn firsthand from a local attorney who sees the tragic consequences of distracted driving every day. Seen recently on NBC 10 News and 6ABC NEWS, Louisa Chen will share her real life experience to not only educate but empower you to make better choices.This workshop is open to all students and staff.
