Salary: A minimum starting salary of $15.40/hour (11SS)

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have an Associate degree, Bachelor’s preferred; good knowledge of computer hardware, Windows OS, Novell and Internet applications; capacity to work in multi-service environment; excellent organization skills; experience in support services in an instructional environment is preferred; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; required to travel between Chester County sites; ability to lift equipment.

Delaware County Community College, a competency-based institution, committed to diversity invites applications for a Part-time Helpdesk Support in our Chester County Campuses.

This position assists in the support and maintenance of instructional services at Downingtown, Exton and other facilities in Chester County, including the installation of software and documentation of problems and solutions.  This position also helps coordinate all aspects of technology usage and problem solving with the main campus, including the scheduling and maintenance of equipment and network activities.  It assists students, staff and faculty, as needed, in the use of technology.

Primary responsibilities includes but not limited to helps coordinate information and learning services, as well as, general computing training activities with related support teams at the main campus; responsible for the general good working condition of computing and media resources; monitor the Support Center tickets, respond to tickets in a timely manner and document work performed; assists in the research and purchase of equipment for supported areas; helps document equipment problems and implement solutions; keeps abreast of state-of-the-art computing developments; performs other duties as assigned.
